St Christopher's House
St Christopher’s House is a registered care home for individuals recovering from mental health. The service was established in 2005, due to the need of community rehabilitation services to enable people to live independently.
St Christopher’s house provides a service for individuals stepping down from health institutions into the community in a safe and comfortable environment.
We provide a bespoke and complete service for those with severe and enduring mental health difficulties, including dual diagnosis (illicit substances and mild learning disability) as well as those who have been through forensic psychiatric services, having reached a point where they could be discharged from impatient services. This would be an appropriate time to be in residential care service to assist them to reintegrate fully into the community.
We offer the following core support:
- Managing your mental health
- Promoting independence, choice and control
- Assisting medication
- Emotional Support
- Developing life skills
