Moreways Healthcare welcomes enquiries from journalists, broadcasters, researchers, industry publications and other media professionals seeking information about our organisation, supported living services and developments across the health and social care sector.

Our Communications Team can assist with media requests relating to supported living, mental health, autism, learning disabilities, forensic step-down services, community-based support, safeguarding, workforce development, organisational announcements and other matters connected with Moreways Healthcare.

Urgent And Out-Of-Hours Enquiries

If your enquiry is urgent or relates to a developing news story outside normal office hours, please contact us by telephone for the quickest response.

Our standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (excluding bank holidays). Urgent media enquiries received outside these hours will be directed to the appropriate member of the management team where necessary.

Important Information For Media Professionals

Moreways Healthcare has a legal and ethical duty to protect the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the people we support, our employees and our partner organisations. We cannot disclose personal, medical, safeguarding or placement information without the appropriate legal authority or consent.

Journalists, photographers and film crews must not visit, film or photograph at any Moreways Healthcare service without prior written authorisation. This includes photographing our premises, approaching people receiving support or interviewing staff whilst on duty.

Where appropriate, we may provide an official statement, arrange an interview with an authorised spokesperson or direct enquiries to the relevant commissioner, NHS organisation or local authority where they are responsible for the matter being reported.
