How To Make An Enquiry

We Are Here To Help

Start A Conversation With The Right Team

Whether you are looking for support, making a professional referral, enquiring on behalf of a family member or contacting us about an existing service, our team will help direct your enquiry appropriately.

Seeking Support

Contact us if you are exploring supported living for yourself or someone close to you. We can explain our services, assessment process and the next appropriate steps.

Making A Referral

Professionals and commissioners can contact our Referrals Team about service availability, assessments, transition planning, placement suitability and proposed support arrangements.

Existing Services

For questions concerning a current placement, planned visit, appointment or operational matter, please contact the relevant Moreways Healthcare service directly.

Who Can Make An Enquiry?

We welcome enquiries from individuals, families, advocates, social workers, care coordinators, local authorities, NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards, mental health professionals, probation services and other partner agencies.

You do not need to have every detail available before contacting us. Our team can help establish the nature of your enquiry, explain what information may be required and direct you to the most appropriate department or service.

Most placements are arranged through health or social care professionals and commissioning organisations. However, individuals and families are also welcome to contact us for information and guidance about our services.

Information To Include

Providing clear information helps us respond efficiently. Where available, please include:

  • Your full name and contact details
  • Your organisation and professional role, where applicable
  • The name of the person requiring support
  • The type of support being considered
  • The current location or placement
  • The proposed funding authority or commissioner
  • Any preferred location or timescale
  • A brief summary of the person’s needs and circumstances

Please Protect Personal Information

At the initial enquiry stage, please provide only the information required for us to understand and direct your request.

Avoid sending unnecessary medical records, safeguarding documents, legal papers or other sensitive personal information through a general web form or unencrypted email.

Where detailed documents are required, a member of our team can advise you on the appropriate and secure method of sharing them.

How The Enquiry Process Works

Every enquiry is different, but the process will usually follow the stages below.

01

Contact Us

Submit the enquiry form, telephone our central team or email the relevant department with an outline of the assistance you require.

02

Initial Review

We review the information provided, identify the appropriate team and may contact you for clarification or additional details.

03

Discussion

Where appropriate, we discuss needs, preferences, funding arrangements, service suitability, availability and possible next steps.

04

Next Steps

This may include an assessment, professional meeting, information request, service visit or development of a planned transition.

Professional Referrals And Placement Enquiries

For formal referrals, our team may request supporting information to understand the person’s needs, risks, strengths, communication preferences, health requirements, current support arrangements and desired outcomes.

We may also ask about funding approval, commissioned support hours, legal or safeguarding arrangements, proposed transition dates and the professionals involved in the person’s care.

Providing information does not automatically confirm that a placement can be offered. Any proposed placement remains subject to assessment, compatibility, service capacity, funding agreement and confirmation that the available service can meet the person’s assessed needs safely and appropriately.
