Frequently asked questions

How do I apply for a vacancy?

Browse our current vacancies, select the role that interests you and complete the online application form. Once your application has been reviewed, suitable candidates will be contacted by our Recruitment Team to discuss the next stage of the recruitment process.

Do I need previous experience?

Not always. Some positions require previous experience in health and social care, whilst others are suitable for compassionate individuals looking to start a rewarding career. Each vacancy clearly outlines the essential qualifications, experience and skills required.

Do you provide training?

Yes. Every successful applicant receives a comprehensive induction and mandatory training before starting work. We also provide ongoing learning, refresher training and opportunities to develop professionally throughout your career with Moreways Healthcare.

What shifts are available?

Our services operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Depending on the role, vacancies may include day shifts, waking night shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Flexible working opportunities may also be available.

Will I need a DBS check?

Yes. Most roles require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before employment can commence. We will guide successful applicants through the DBS process as part of our pre-employment checks.

What happens after I submit my application?

Our Recruitment Team carefully reviews every application. If your skills and experience match the requirements of the vacancy, you’ll be invited to the next stage, which may include an interview, reference checks, right to work verification and an Enhanced DBS check before an offer of employment is made.
